Registration in the Norcross Cluster
The Norcross cluster of schools has two outstanding high school options for students to choose from – Paul Duke STEM High School or Norcross High School. While both schools offer rigorous academic course offerings and fine arts programs, there are several key differences between the schools. Once a family selects a preferred high school, the student may only move to the other high school by following the GCPS Permissive Transfer Process.

How to determine if Paul Duke STEM High School is your home School?
If you live in the Norcross Cluster, your child may attend either Paul Duke STEM or Norcross High. Click here to confirm that you live in the Norcross Cluster.
Students who live outside of the Norcross Cluster may be eligible for a Permissive Transfer. Learn more about the process here.
How do I register my in-cluster student?
Our 2025-2026 school year registration opens on March 24th, at which point you can begin the registration process. Once you complete the Online Registration (OLR) and submit all the required documents, we will arrange a registration appointment for you and your student. During this meeting, you'll have the opportunity to meet with a counselor to choose classes for the upcoming school year.
This option is available only to students residing within the Norcross cluster. If you live outside the cluster, there is a different process to follow, please email pdsregistrar@gcpsk12.org .

Withdrawing Students
We wish your child the best during the transition to a new school. Our school system has an easy to use, secure online withdrawal process that will allow you to complete the form required for withdrawing your child. Once you complete and submit the online withdrawal form, you will be contacted by a school representative to verify your id and to provide you with any additional information necessary to complete the withdrawal if needed for your child
Withdrawal Process:
- Download the Withdrawal Form
- Open the downloaded form with an Adobe application
- Fill out the editable fields with the information
- Click the "Submit to GCPS" button (this will: open your email account, automatically attach your filled-out form, and send it to the correct people at PDSHS)
