Contact Information Changes

Enrolling Parent can change student emergency contacts and preferred name: in ParentVue:

  • Click Student Information
  • Click Edit Information
  • Make necessary changes, then click Save Changes.

Change of Address

To change your address for Gwinnett County Public Schools, you must complete the GCPS online registration for a transfer and upload required documents, including your photo ID and two proof-of-residency documents (like a current utility bill and lease/mortgage statement) through the ParentVue portal or at your student's school. This process ensures your student is in the correct, zoned school for the upcoming academic year and that all school mailings are sent to the correct address. 


Steps to Change Your Address:

  1. Gather Required Documents:
    • Parent/Guardian Photo ID
    • Two Proofs of Residency
      • Current lease agreement OR mortgage statement
      • Recent utility bill (water or electric ONLY)
  2. Complete the Online Transfer Registration:
    • Current GCPS students who are moving to a new address must complete the GCPS online transfer process in ParentVue
    • Click Online Registration
    • Click Student Transfer (NOT new student registration)
  3. Upload Documents:
    • You will be able to upload the required documents (photo ID and proof of residency) during the online transfer registration process

If you are withdrawing from PDSHS, the new High School can send their records request to PDSRegistrar@gcpsk12.org or digitally through Scribbles.
